Knesset speaker urges all MKs to attend US vice president's speech
Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein has called on all lawmakers to attend US Vice President Mike Pence's speech at the Israeli parliament on Thursday.
Edelstein issued a letter stating that "the presence of all Knesset members at this meeting is highly important. Israel's citizens will be waiting to see whether we are going to honor our duty and fill up the plenum this Thursday, or be forced to witness the shameful images of an empty plenum once again."
