Ofakim resident charged with rape in the US arrested in Israel

A 52-year-old resident of Ofakim has been arrested in Israel after an indictment was filed against him in the state of Pennsylvania in the US for the rape of a 15-year-old girl.
According to the indictment, he raped the girl while she was shopping with her friend at a clothes store he owned.
As part of Israel's extradition agreement with the US, the suspect will be brought for a remand extension on Thursday, where the court will also determine whether to extradite him.
