British police say dealing with 'suspicious vehicle' near Buckingham Palace

British police were dealing with 'suspicious vehicle' left near Buckingham Palace in London late on Thursday and road closures were in place.
"Officers on routine patrol reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Hyde Park Corner," a spokesman for London police said. "Officers remain in attendance. Road closures are currently in place."
London's transport authority said Hyde Park Corner has been closed due to a police incident.
Queen Elizabeth is not at Buckingham Palace as she travelled to her Sandringham estate in eastern England earlier on Thursday for the Christmas holiday.
