COGAT: Claim amputee protester was killed by IDF in Gaza unfounded
Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai wrote on the Almunasseq Arab-language Facebook page that an IDF inquiry showed "false reports of a sniper shooting and directly and deliberately hitting" amputee protester Ibrahim Abu Thuraya were "unfounded."
Thuraya was killed in clashes with the IDF near the Gaza Strip border last week.
COGAT Mordechai called on the Red Cross to share all of the information it possesses with the IDF "in order to reach the truth and put an end to the violence-inciting cascade of lies."
