Some 50,000 Israelis visited the country's nature reserves and national parks on Saturday, according to the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.
The most popular sites were the Yarkon, Masada, Caesarea and Palmachim national parks, and the Ein Afek and Ein Gedi nature reserves.
