Knesset Interior Committee approves primaries funding bill for 2nd, 3rd reading
The Knesset's Interior Committee approved the primaries funding bill on Sunday for second and third readings.
According to the bill proposal, MKs, deputy ministers and ministers running in primary elections are eligible for a grant from the state. Other candidates would be able to seek out a loan or fundraise.
The Interior Committee recommended removing a clause in the bill that gives a party that doesn't hold primaries NIS 50,000 in funding.
