Rishon LeZion municipality approves opening of businesses on Shabbat

The city council of Rishon LeZion approved an amendment to the municipal bylaws that will allow the opening of businesses in central streets and industrial areas throughout the city on Shabbat.
In their next meeting, the council will discuss the allowed hours of activity in the city's main streets.
