A security guard at a kindergarten complex in Ramat Gan was moderately hurt when an unknown perpetrator tried to snatch his weapon on Thursday morning.
The 68-year-old guard fired into the air while struggling with his assailant.
Police said the incident was criminal in nature, and that search was underway for the suspect.
