Eisenkot: statements on retaliating with maximal force to Gaza rocket attacks irresponsible

IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot commented on the claim the army was not appropriately responding to rockets launched from Gaza at Israel.
In a ceremony memorializing former chief of staff Amnon Lipkin-Shahak, Eisenkot said, "Outward statements I keep hearing, which I consider irresponsible, to respond immediately and with maximal force to any attacks—I don't think it's the right thing to do."
