Jordanian Interior Minister Ghaleb Zu'bi visited the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Sunday, marking the first visit of a senior Jordanian official at the mosque since the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Arab media reported Zu'bi met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem on Saturday night.
