Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked halted discussions at the Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee on Sunday, claiming Likud MK Yoav Kisch was blocking the Ariel University bill proposal, which seeks to recognize Israeli academic institutions in the West Bank under the Council for Higher Education.
Kisch is blocking the legislation by Bayit Yehudi MK Shuli Mualem over the latter's refusal to support a bill he is promoting concerning custody over young children.
