China removes travel advisory to Israel

The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday cancelled a travel advisory to Israel that was issued following US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The change came after intense lobbying by the Foreign Ministry and the Israeli embassy in Beijing.
The advisory led to the cancellation of several Chinese delegation visits to Israel. Gilaad Cohen, Deputy Chairman of the Asia-Pacific department at the Ministry said that they are working to convince other nations to cancel their travel advisories as wll.
