Yesha Council Chairman says 'no room' for checkpoints in time of routine
Yesha Council Chairman Hananel Dorani said in a conversation with journalists that IDF checkpoints around Nablus were set up after the shooting attack at Havat Gilad, in which Rabbi Raziel Shevach was murdered.
"The IDF works correctly when it places such barriers after an attack, but in times of routine there is no room for such measures," he said. "We must allow the Palestinians to continue their routine so as not to increase the friction between our two people."
