Tender for new ambassador to Jordan published
The Foreign Affairs Ministry published an internal tender for the position of Israeli Ambassador to Jordan, to be filled immediately. The ambassador will be selected from the pool of the ministry's current employees.
The tender was published following an agreement was reached to terminate the crisis between the two countries, as part of which it was agreed former ambassador Einat Shlain will not be returning to Jordan and a new ambassador will be appointed in her stead.
