34 social organizations to Kahlon: 'Raise disability benefits by end of month'
34 social organizations sent a letter to Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon demanding he pass the bill raising disability benefits by the end of the month.
The letter, initiated by the "Disabled, Not Half a Person" organization, came in response to a meeting on the topic at the Knesset's Labor and Welfare Committee being canceled in order to prepare the bill for its first reading.
Among the signatory organizations are Bizchut, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, the Israeli Society for Autistic Children, Enosh, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, Yedid, Link 20, Lishma, Ozma and others.
