Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki comment on the furor over his country's bill banning ascribing any Polish responsibility for the Holocaust and said, "Auschwitz is the bitterest lesson left as testament to the manner in which an evil ideology can create hell on Earth."
Morawiecki added that, "Auschwitz-Birkenau is not a Polish name and 'Work liberates' is not a Polish phrase."
