Ministerial Committee for Legislation approves disability benefit rise bill

The Ministerial Committee for Legislation has approved the bill raising disability benefits, sponsored by Welfare Minister Haim Katz. The bill will raise benefits by NIS 4.2 billion.
Katz's proposed legislation also includes anchoring four increments for further raises and linking benefits with the average wage.
