Police sappers working to neutralize explosive attached to door of Rishon LeZion apartment

An explosive device was attached to the door of an apartment in a residential building in Rishon LeZion on Tuesday morning.
Israel Police sappers were working to neutralize the explosive on Gdolei Yisra'el Street in the western part of the city. The residents of the 11-floor building were evacuated.
Early Tuesday, neighbors noticed a cellphone connected to a small charger with wires attached to the door and called the police.
The apartment's resident is a business owner not known to police. He was taken to a nearby police station to give his testimony.
