European Jewish Association to petition Holocaust bill at Polish court

Rabbi Menachem Margolin, the general director of the European Jewish Association (EJA), said Tuesday his organization plans to petition the Polish constitutional court against a bill imposing jail terms for suggesting the country was complicit in the Holocaust.
"Unfortunately, the president of Poland has chosen to ignore the reservations and concerns raised by European Jews and the international community and decided to sign this new delusional bill into law," Margolin said.
He said the EJA asked Polish President Andrzej Duda to postpone the signing of the bill until a meeting is held on the matter, but they were rejected.
