MK Yaakov Peri is retiring from Knesset

Yesh Atid MK Yaakov Peri announced his resignation from the Knesset Wednesday. Peri said: “In recent months, people are attempting to undermine my credibility and my work for the State of Israel. All my life I have fought, and was even injured during my career at the Shin Bet.
“In light of the fact that recent publications cast a heavy shadow on my accomplishments over the years to strengthen the security of the State of Israel as well as on the values represented by the Yesh Atid Party, I decided to take a break from my public activities and submit my resignation from the Knesset.
