Foreign Ministry names Amir Weissbrod Israel's next ambassador to Jordan

The Foreign Minister's appointments committee has selected Amir Weissbrod as Israel's next ambassador to Jordan.

Weissbrod, who will replace Einat Shlain, serves as head of the Middle East Bureau at the Foreign Ministry's Center for Political Research. The appointment is pending approval by the government.
