The police, in cooperation with Interpol, have arrested a 34-year-old Israeli suspect for two burglary instances in Germany, one of which ended in murder.
The German government is expected to submit a request for his extradition. According to the suspicion, the Israeli, together with another person, broke into a home in Ulm where a 91-year-old woman and her 59-year-old son lived.
The two proceeded to attack the elderly women and her son, and killed the latter after he sustained a serious head injury and suffocated when the attackers covered his mouth.
The suspect will be brought before the The Jerusalem Magistrates’ Court, which will consider extending his arrest.
