Abbas: Recognition of Palestine will advance negotiations

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said during his UN speech Tuesday that recognition of the state of Palestine by the UN Security Council will advance the negotiations with Israel. Abbas added that “Israel does not honor international agreements nor implement UN resolutions.”
