Israeli woman arrested at Azerbaijan airport after bullets found in her bag
An Israeli citizen was arrested at the airport in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on Friday after several rifle bullets were found in her bag.
The woman was traveling to Azerbaijan with her husband and used a bag that belongs to her daughter, an IDF soldier, who forgot the bullets there.
Israel's consul in Baku, Lilach Atias, arrived at the airport and has been trying to provide assistance. However, local authorities insist on detaining the Israeli woman until the investigation is concluded.
