Bennett awards Check Point CEO winner of new high-tech category of Israel prize

Education Minister Naftali Bennett announced Sunday that he would be introducing a new high-tech category to the Israel Prize, which he said this year would be awarded to Gil Shwed,
CEO of Check Point Software Technologies
“Shwed’s story is one of Israeli high-tech. As a 8200 who founded Check Point, he paved the way and served as an inspiration for me and fo thousands of Israeli tech entrepreneurs," he wrote on his Twitter page.
