Ilan Lubrani, former Israeli ambassador to Iran, dies at 92

Ilan Lubrani, a former Israeli ambassador and advisor to defense ministers, has died at the age of 92.
Lubrani served as ambassador to Iran, Uganda and Ethiopia, as well as an advisor on Arab affairs to Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. He also assisted with Operation Solomon, the evacuation of Ethiopian Jews to Israel and headed the Israeli delegation to Lebanon in the wake of the Madrid Conference in Washington, DC.
