Palestinians: Arab states have failed, encouraged US to recognize J'lem

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al-Maliki criticized Arab states, saying their failure to implement decisions reached regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have encouraged the United States to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
This failure, Maliki claimed, encouraged small countries such as Guatemala to follow the American lead and also transfer their own embassies to Jerusalem.
"If we can't implement our own decisions, how can we prevent other countries from undertaking such moves?" he wondered.
