Knesset committee to vote on nationality bill
A joint committee of the Knesset's House Committee and Constitution Committee will convene Tuesday to vote on the controversial nationality bill and approve it for first reading.
The bill seeks to define Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people. Under the proposed legislation, Jerusalem would be declared as Israel's capital, Hebrew would be declared as the official language and Arabic would receive a special status.
