The draft exemptions bill, whose promulgation was agreed upon in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation, passed in a Knesset Plenum vote with each coalition party being granted freedom to vote.
The bill passed with a 59 MK majority, with 38 MKs voting against it, including Immigrant Absorption Minister Sofa Landver, with no abstentions.
