A 66-year-old bicycle rider was killed Saturday after being hit by a vehicle on route 444 near the Jaljulia interchange.
He was evacuated to the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva in serious condition, where after failed resuscitation efforts doctors had to declare him dead.
