Defense Minister Lieberman to make official trip to Africa
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman will leave for Africa on Wednesday.
This is the first official visit by an Israeli defense minister to the continent in decades.
Lieberman will visit Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia and hold a series of diplomatic meetings with heads of state and their defense ministers.
During his absence, Lieberman will be temporarily replaced by Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Minister of Environmental Protection Ze'ev Elkin.
