Kahlon seeks permit exemption for building of new US Embassy

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) announced Wednesday that he had instructed the National Council for Planning and Construction to urgently convene to provide a permit exemption for the construction of required infrastructure for the US Embassy.

The embassy is set to be transferred from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and open in May.
