Probe into Palestinian PM assassination attempt: Hamas closes area around Erez crossing
Hamas's security apparatus is preventing civilians from reaching the vicinity of the Erez border crossing as part of a manhunt on the perpetrators of an assassination attempt on the life of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.
Hamas operatives only allow humanitarian cases to reach the crossing, barring everyone else.
Wednesday night the terror group closed borders and Rafah smuggling tunnels to prevent the suspect from fleeing the strip.
