Tamar Zandberg grabs 71% of vote in Meretz leadership contest

MK Tamar Zandberg was nominated Thursday evening by an overwhelming majority to lead the Meretz political party, clinching 71.12% of the vote.
Her opponent, Avi Buskila from the Peace Now movement, secured 28.48% of the vote. In total, 50% of the party members—17,031—took part in the vote.
