US embassy building in Jerusalem to receive construction exemption

National Planning and Building Council has recommended granting the US embassy building in Jerusalem a construction exemption to prevent a delay in its relocation to Jerusalem.
Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon says he plans to sign the exemption in the coming days. "This is a strategic-political move for the State of Israel. The planning bodies will do everything it takes to meet the required timetable."
