Bennett, Shaked to sponsor HCJ-circumventing legislation on asylum seekers next week

Ministers Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked (Bayit Yehudi) have announced plans to sponsor legislation next week of a new "infiltration bill"—this time containing a clause preventing the High Court from striking it down.
Bennett and Shaked have decided on renewing legislative efforts in the wake of an agreement with the United Nations to receive some asylum seekers, which was annulled by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Bennett said that at the meeting of coalition heads next week, he will endeavor to promote such a clause to allow the bill to be effectively redrawn.
