Teva to close Ashdod plant, lay off 175 employees
Teva's management announced that the Ashdod plant, which has 175 employees, will be shuttered by March 2019.
Half of the workers will be fired within the next few months and the rest will be laid off gradually until the plant is closed.
The pharmaceutical company's management tried to sell the plant in recent months, but because it did not find a buyer, it decided to close it.
