The Haifa military tribunal approved a plea bargain agreement between the Military Advocate General and two Shayetet 13 soldiers tasked with administrative duties, initially charged with the rape of a soldier in a southern region base.
The charge of rape was stricken as part of the plea deal, with the soldiers admitting to a lesser charge of joint indecent assault of the soldier they sexually abused.
The two were sentenced to eight a nine months in prison, which they have already served since the affair began.
