Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman barred the entry of 110 Palestinians who were invited to participate in an Israeli-Palestinian conference in Tel Aviv during the eve of Israel's Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism.
"I will not lend a hand to the desecration of our Memorial Day," Lieberman said, stressing the Palestinians were not invited for "a memorial ceremony, but a demonstration in bad taste and insensitivity that harms the bereaved families that are dear to us."
