HCJ gives AG 5 days to decide on deportation agreement

The High Court of Justice issued its decision regarding the petition to release asylum seekers imprisoned in the Saharonim detention facility and granted the state five days to allow Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to approve the deportation agreement with the third state.
The High Court of Justice ruled that if until then the AG does not approve the agreement, all asylum seekers held at the facility will be released.
