Internal Affairs closes criminal proceedings against 3 Shin Bet officials suspected of sex offenses

The Police Investigation Unit has decided to close criminal proceedings against three senior Shin Bet officials suspected of sexual offenses against an employee of the security agency between 2013 and 2016.
The unit said the complainant was found to be speaking the truth in a polygraph test on whether she was raped by two of the officials, but not enough evidence was in place to charge the three.
Investigative materials will nevertheless be forwarded to the Civil Service Commission, which will examine whether the suspects were guilty of any disciplinary offenses.
