Syrian president Bashar al-Assad's political adviser Bouthaina Shaaban said Syria did not fear war, and that the regime stood ready to face it should one break out.
In an interview to the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen network, "The rules of the game have changed in Damascus's favor and we are in a much better position compared to the past."
"Israel is interested in the continual of war, but Syria's victor will alter both the region and the world—and Israel will be the biggest loser," she stated.
