IAF holding drills for Independence Day flyover over Tel Aviv beaches
Israel Air Force jets are holding drills over the beaches of Tel Aviv in preparation for the traditional Independence Day flyover.
As part of the lessons drawn from last week's drills, which the public did not know of beforehand, the air force aborted a combat drill between two F-35 jets that included firing off flares and copious engine noise.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said the decision was reached to "prevent further panic."
