HCJ allows Palestinians to enter Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day

The High Court of Justice (HCJ) approved on Tuesday a petition against Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman's decision to bar Palestinians from entering Israel to participate in the traditional Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day ceremony.

The HCJ's ruling said, "Lieberman's decision utterly ignores the bereaved families and the public's feelings, both of which sought to hold the ceremony as in years prior."

Moreover, the HCJ approved the entry to the country of 90 Palestinians for the purpose of attending the ceremony.
