Lieberman blasts HCJ decision: 'It conflates bereavement and terror'

Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman accused on Tuesday the High Court of Justice (HCJ) with equating bereavement and terror, as well as victims and murderers, following the HCJ's ruling to permit the entry of 90 Palestinians to Israel to participate in the traditional Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day ceremony.

"The HCJ's decision tarnishes the stateliest and most unifying day for Israel. The final outcome is division rather than unification," he added.
