European parliament: Aid to PA used to finance education to hate to be cut off
The European parliament in Brussels has adopted legislation preventing the transfer of funds from the European Union's PEGASE to the Palestinian Authority, if those funds are to be used for education to hatred.
The foundation is the PA's main source of funding.
The new legislation determines that classes and instruction program funded using EU monies must reflect shared values such as peace, liberty and tolerance.
