Peace Now to Bennett: 'Allow David Grossman to speak at Israel Prize ceremony'
The left-wing Peace Now movement has called on Education Minister David Grossman to allow author David Grossman to speak at the Israel Prize ceremony on Independence Day.
Gross will receive the prize for Hebrew literature and song.
The movement's request came following the minister authorizing fellow prize laureate and bereaved mother Miriam Peretz to speak at the ceremony as well.
"We express the sentiments of millions of Israelis who consider Grossman the essence of beautiful Israel," Peace Now said.
