IDF soldier arrested for suspicion of stealing army equipment

A soldier serving as a combat service support in the Egoz unit was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of stealing several stunt hand grenades and selling them to criminal elements.

The military court in Jaffa extended his remand until Sunday. The soldier denies all accusations against him.

The IDF said the matter is being investigated in collaboration with the Israel Police, and findings will be reviewed by the IDF Military Advocate General.
