Senior Iranian official: Punishing 'Zionist entity' for T-4 base attack is 'inevitable'
The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, said Tuesday that punishing "the Zionist entity" was "inevitable."
"Iran will decide on the right place and time" to punish Israel "in response to the attack on the T-4 base, in which several Iranian citizens were killed," he told journalists.
"Iran paid a heavy price to achieve regional stability and fight terrorism, and for this reason it cannot ignore the rise in moves that undermine the stability, which are carried out by the US, Israel and their allies in the region."
