The strongest floods in the country in the past eight years have been measured between Wednesday and Friday, the Water Authority said.
The authority's statement further stated the floods were irregular in both their magnitude and span, as three consecutive flood waves on three separate days are an abnormal phenomenon.
The authority also noted that despite the flooding, the state of Israel's water economy remained virtually unchanged.
